Hey there, I’m Alessandro. I truly hope you can pronounce it correctly.

I am an ambitious, curious and over-dramatic actor, writer and filmmaker who passes most of his time reading philosophy, writing mediocre screenplays, listening to The Rolling Stones, playing soccer and watching classic movies ('Here's looking at you, kid'). I am fascinated by human behavior and by innovation. I played soccer for 10 years, studied Latin and Ancient Greek for 5 and was rejected by the same woman for 3. I live in Los Angeles but I originally come from the beautiful South of Italy (precisely from Puglia, check it out).

Before moving to Los Angeles I graduated in Economics at ‘Bocconi University’ in Milan (I like to say it). Once in Los Angeles I studied the Meisner Technique and graduated at the traditional 2 Year Program at “The Sanford Meisner Center of The Arts”. I currently attend the Masterclass at Anthony Meindl’s Acting Workshop in Los Angeles. After starring in several short movies and obtaining my work permit in the United States, I co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in my first feature film “BRINDISI”, a bilingual Italian-American comedy and romance which can now be found on Amazon Prime (like almost every other project in the world). My last project called ‘A Soft Love’ is a black&white short film inspired by the French new wave. You could also see my in commercials by BMW, VisitCalifornia, Oura Ring, HYUNDAI and others. (I promise there are others) .

‘Cool Hand Luke’, ‘Rocky’, ‘Midnight in Paris’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’ and ‘Contempt’ are some of my favorite movies. Marcello Mastroianni, Paul Newman, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Al Pacino are some my biggest acting inspiration. Jean-Luc Godard, Paul Thomas Anderson, Aaron Sorkin and Michelangelo Antonioni some of my favorite storytellers.

On set I bring food, Italian food.

L Yes, I was blonde.

Yes, I was blonde.

Yes, I was funny.

Yes, I was funny.

To that extent that you can sustain and maintain that childlike part of your personality is probably the best part of acting.
