Hey there, I’m Alessandro. I truly hope you can pronounce it correctly.

I am an ambitious, open minded and curious Actor and nerd who passes most of his time reading, writing, playing soccer and watching classic movies ('Here's looking at you, kid'). I am fascinated by human behavior and by innovation. I played soccer for 10 years, studied Latin and Ancient Greek for 5 and was rejected by the same woman for 3. I live in Los Angeles but I originally come from the beautiful South of Italy (precisely from Puglia, come visit, you are my guest!). Before moving to Los Angeles I graduated in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan with 110/110 (who cares, right?), I then completed a 1 Year conservatory in Acting for Film at ‘New York Film Academy’ and then graduated in the Meisner Technique after the traditional 2 Year Program at “The Sanford Meisner Center of The Arts” in Los Angeles. After starring in several short movies and obtaining my work permit in the United States, I co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in my first feature film “BRINDISI”, an Italian-American comedy and romance inspired by the Mediterranean movies of the ‘60s and ‘70s, in which I act both in Italian and English. I came here to learn from the best how to tell stories. Which luckily it's also what makes me happy. Very happy.  ‘Cool Hand Luke’, ‘Rocky’, ‘Midnight in Paris’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’ and ‘Before Midnight’ are some of my favorite movies. Marcello Mastroianni, Paul Newman, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Matthias Schoenaerts are my biggest inspiration.

On set I bring energy, hard work, enthusiasm and some good Italian food.

Yes, I was blonde.

Yes, I was blonde.

Yes, I was funny.

Yes, I was funny.

To that extent that you can sustain and maintain that childlike part of your personality is probably the best part of acting.
